Local MP, Jo Churchill, has welcomed Greene King apprentice, Tyler Markarian, to Parliament to celebrate the launch of a new report and set of social mobility commitments by Britain’s leading pub company and brewer, Greene King.
Last year it was announced that the NHS would receive £20.5 billion extra by 2023 – 24. In return, the NHS was asked to develop a plan for how to spend this additional funding to transform patient care and make sure every penny of taxpayers’ money is spent wisely.
On Thursday 29th June, Jo Churchill MP marked her re-election to Parliament by contributing to debate of the Queen’s Speech. Speaking in the Chamber, she discussed the government’s pledge towards jobs and the national economy.
Bury St Edmunds MP Jo Churchill has been appointed as Parliamentary Private Secretary (PPS) to the Department of Health, having been re-elected to Parliament in June 2017. Mrs Churchill has been appointed as PPS to The Rt. Honourable Jeremy Hunt MP, Secretary of State for Health.
