Last Friday I visited the Muntons site in Stowmarket with Trade Secretary Liz Truss MP to discuss the opportunities for businesses such as Muntons from future trade deals as we leave the EU.

On Tuesday 28th July Jo Churchill paid a special visit to the British Army Attack Aviation base at Wattisham Flying Station to gain an insight to military life in Suffolk.

The work of Our Bury St Edmunds & Stowmarket Town council has ensured that customers can shop confidently and safely, with measures in place to ensure social distancing measures can be followed.

Bury St Edmunds MP backs local beet growers

It was great to meet with individuals from the beet industry in Parliament and to talk about its importance to our area.

 

During the event, I raised the importance of improving the A14 in Suffolk to reduce delays and am pleased British Sugar are supporting the campaign.
